The pattern MEOWTASTIC MOSAIC is perfect for baby blankets and all cat lovers! The pattern is repeated so your project can be as large/small as you wish! You can add more colors if you wish, using tapestry mosaic crochet.

ch/chs (chain/chains), st/sts (stitch/stitches), R/Rs (row/rows, in the border round/rounds), stsc (standing single crochet), sslst (surface slip stitch / in the border only), sc (single crochet), 

blsc (back loop single crochet), bl (back loop), flsc (front loop single crochet / in the border only), fldc (front loop double crochet), sp/sps (space/spaces), yo (yarn over). 

Special stitches:

exfldc - extended front loop double crochet. Yo, insert hook into st, yo, pull yarn through st, yo, pull through 1 loop on your hook, (yo, pull through 2 loops on your hook) x 2.

exdcRight - right-slanted extended front loop double crochet into second-previous st 2 Rs below.

exdcLeft - left-slanted extended front loop double crochet into the second-next st 2 Rs below.
